I was looking for the perfect sunset shot at sea but the gloomy clouds nipped that plan in the bud. Instead from the back of the ship this gloriously empty vista presented itself. It's an example of the use of a muted palette of colours. The shapes and the contrast of light and dark are more important. The sun was over to the right and casting a wan glow on the sea below it.
This was shot hand-held at F22, 1/45sec, ISO100, focal length 18mm.
